Case study
Localtree Australian Business Awards 2026
A regional chamber of commerce's business excellence awards program, configured and run end to end on Awardova.
Award and schedule
The award was configured with its own timezone, Australia/Melbourne, and a full schedule of stage windows: nominations, entries, judging and public voting, each with its own opening and closing dates.
Categories
Three categories were set up — Community Impact, Innovation in Service, and Emerging Business — each with its own set of entry questions.
Judging rubrics
The judged categories were each given a rubric of three criteria — quality, impact and presentation — for judges to score entries against.
Site pages
The award's landing, sign-up and dashboard pages were assembled with the page builder, on the organisation's own site.
Sponsors
Sponsors were added at different tiers to appear on the award site.
Organisation mail
The organisation connected its own mail service, so nomination, entry and voting notifications sent from the organisation's own sender.
Nominations
A CSV of nominees was imported, and claim links were emailed to each nominee so they could complete their own entry.
Public voting
Public voting was run with email verification, so a vote only counted once a voter confirmed it from their inbox.
Judge portal
Judges were given access to score sheets against the category rubrics, with support for a judge to recuse themselves from an entry.
